How this works

The rules are simple on purpose. The goal is to make the work easy to inspect, compare, and correct.

What this is

A residents' project focused on public information about the Town of Salina. It is not a campaign and does not endorse candidates.

The standards

  • Every candidate in a race receives the identical questionnaire.
  • Answers are published in the candidate's own words.
  • Non-responses are reported plainly without characterization.
  • Factual claims are sourced.
  • Information that cannot be verified is labeled as unverified.
  • Corrections are published publicly.
